Conceptual Artist
My work is a constantly expanding, shifting exploration into the world of consciousness.  I am interested in bringing the viewer and participant into creation, motion and energy from beyond the surface of what the naked eye perceives: The force of nature in all things.

With this in mind, I am currently exploring kinetic visual and interactive art forms through a wide variety of multi-media and conceptual installations.

One Crow Across

Last night, the sliver of moon
Steadied overhead,
And wind came in
From the Northwest,
Blew down hard until all the snow
Came off the surface of the lake,
A pale blue grey stream of ice
Left in passing,
I was at the water’s edge
When I decided to walk across,
Those clustered bare branched trees
Swinging wild, tried to uproot and come along,
Halfway through I heard voices
Telling me - return to shore,
Carried past me to the other side,
Their calls traveled further then faded out,
And remembering the earlier
Sounds of the gathering crows, circling,
I did not look back,
Lifted my palm to the sky there,
A small prayer, a
Vision of the possible,
Or both, given over in the dark
Rose up there,
Knowing this water turned holy
Would not break,
Where I went
And am going,
I cannot say.

Velocity

Today is filled with even currents, soft breezes
cast off the rising lake.
Why don’t we just hum?

Relinquish speed, dovetail and undulate
like
the surface of the water when the wind is light,
gently move towards each other,
float inside these quaternion dreams of all that is asked for,
when it is good is given,
see how everything is making music all the time, shining.
Change
, shining change;

why don’t we?

Peace Wells:  What would our future
look like in a world at peace?
Created to give a visual and kinetic
answer - a new reference point for
peace on earth, This on-going global installation
represents humanity’s potential,  what is possible if we collectively took all the resources and energy of war and transmuted it to the greater good of our planet.
(Specific information on this project is detailed under Installations)

Embrace Global Project:  In the simple act of a sustained embrace lies our ability to heal ourselves, each other and the planet.  Embrace is a global performance art project about our common humanity;
